Best home cooked meal in town!
I've had a lot of burgers in my day and am rather picky so if I say a burger is good, you can put money on it. With that in mind, while this was not a fancy burger, made of exotic meats and covered in eccentric toppings, I have a hard time thinking of anything that could've made this burger any better. The meat was fresh and flavorful and the bacon perfectly cooked, the vegetables were crisp, hardy, and as fresh as the meat, and the bun was the perfect complement to it all. Don't let the unassuming look of the place fool you, inside there is an undoubtedly GOOD burger. I will gladly drive out of my way again to stop here and I recommend you do the same.

We had a wonderful breakfast. The gravy was uniquely Jean's. The best part of our experience however was meeting Maye. Maye is a regular feature at Jean's. An AMAZING 90 year old local lady who loves to socialize. Her stories and experiences are worth taking a few minutes to listen to, and learn a bit about Hugo. I hope I'm that sharp when I'm 90. Long Live Maye!!!
Homemade food like grandma used to make. Great service. The whole town of Hugoans eat here. Very cool if you want to know the people that have lived here for generations.
